Review on ⚙️ OBDeleven Standard Edition: Android Exclusive Scan Tool for VW, Audi - OBD2 Compatible by Lee Rodriguez

I do not know about this product. I first ordered it from Revain after researching information from various sources. I have two VWs and was looking for an OBD II DTC scanner that would do both CEL reset and long coding. OBDeleven gets pretty high marks for how much you can do compared to VCDS and for the money. In short, it didn't work at all. The package was in good condition and looked serious. There are no written instructions included. Just a website. I couldn't connect it to my Android phone and soon found out why. It wouldn't turn on when plugged into the OBD II port and the ignition was on, but didn't work. No light on the OBDeleven device. So I sent it back thinking I got a bad one. Immediately got a replacement and the same thing happened. I began to suspect something was wrong. I also sent the second one back and ordered one from Deutsche Parts on a whim. Another OBDeleven distributor. I paid less for it too! Plugged it in and everything worked perfectly. I just want to take photos of the two that I received from Revain. They are identical to each other but we are not the same as the ones I received from Deutsche Parts. The first two were all white with the OBDeleven logo on the front. The one I got from Deutsche Parts was white with a logo but black where it connects to the OBD port in the car. Also, the boxes, although almost identical, are made of thinner material and the information printed on them then differs slightly from the Deutsche Parts parts. I can't say for sure, but I think the first two were fake. Despite all that, the OBDeleven I received from Deutsche Parts works as advertised and while it doesn't come with instructions, there are plenty of resources online on how to use it. . It's not practical in the sense that someone with little knowledge of automotive coding or diagnostics will find it useful, but it's a powerful tool if you want to do your own wiring on your VW as well as adjustments.
