Description of Precision Bike Torque Wrench Set for Mountain & Road Bikes - Pro Bike Tool 1/4-Inch Drive with Allen & Torx Sockets, Extension Bar, Dual Readout, and Storage Box

Product Overview

The PRO BIKE TOOL Torque Wrench is a reliable and precise diagnostic tool designed for the measurement of torque in various bike components. With a torque range of 20 to 150 Inch Pounds (2.2 to 16.9 Nm), this wrench allows for calibrated precision during installations. Its micro adjustment feature enables accurate torque settings down to 1, ensuring fittings are tightened to the correct specifications. This helps distribute clamping forces evenly across surfaces, prolonging the lifespan of high-performance components and preventing damage caused by over tightening. Ideal for use on stems, seat clamps, lever clamps, chain sets, rotors, and headsets.

Key Features

The PRO BIKE TOOL Torque Wrench offers peace of mind and protects your investment by preventing costly damage. Over-tightening bolts can lead to expensive bike repairs, while insufficient torque can result in loose bolts and compromised performance. With the 1/4-inch drive dual-direction torque wrench driver, the guesswork is eliminated, making it easy to follow the manufacturer's recommended settings. Each hand tool is pre-calibration tested for accuracy, ensuring precise readings within +/- 4% (clockwise) and +/- 6% (counter clockwise). The spring-loaded adjustment collar securely locks the desired torque setting, preventing accidental slippage during use. The high-contrast In-Ib and Nm read-out scales provide easy readability, and the wrench emits a distinct 'click' when the pre-set torque value is reached, alerting you to stop applying force.

Important Parameters

When considering a torque wrench for your diagnostic and measurement needs, it's essential to prioritize accuracy, torque range, and ease of use. The PRO BIKE TOOL Torque Wrench excels in all these parameters. With its pre-calibrated accuracy of +/- 4% (clockwise) and +/- 6% (counter clockwise), you can trust its readings. The torque range of 20 to 150 Inch Pounds (2.2 to 16.9 Nm) covers a wide range of bike components. Additionally, the spring-loaded adjustment collar and high-contrast read-out scales ensure convenient operation and readability.

Applications

The PRO BIKE TOOL Torque Wrench finds versatile applications in various bike maintenance scenarios. Here are some common areas where this tool can be utilized:

  1. Handlebar stems
  2. Seat clamps
  3. Precision Torque Measurement - Install components with calibrated precision – 20 to 150 Inch Pound torque range (2.2 to 16.9 Nm) with micro adjustment to 1. Helps ensure that the fittings are tightened to the correct torque, and that clamping forces are distributed evenly across clamping surfaces. This helps prolong the life of high-performance components and prevents damage from over tightening. Ideal for use on stems, seat clamps, lever clamps, chain sets, rotors and headsets. Peace Of Mind Protect Your Investment – Over-tightening bolts can cause expensive damage to your bike. Applying too little torque can lead to bolts working loose or not doing their job. Our 1/4-inch drive dual-direction torque wrench driver removes the guesswork, making it easy to follow the manufacturer’s recommended settings. Each hand tool is shipped pre-calibration tested for accuracy, +/- 4% (clockwise) and +/- 6% (counter clockwise). Safe & Easy To Use & Read – Spring loaded adjustment collar automatically ‘locks’ in place at the desired torque setting, ensuring it will not accidentally slip when being used. High-contrast In-Ib (main readout) & Nm read-out scales are easy to read – Wrench emits a ‘click’ that can be ‘heard and/or felt’ when the pre-set torque value is reached, alerting you to ‘stop’ applying force. At low Nm settings <50 lb the click can be ‘subtle’. Between 50-150 lb the click will be stronger. Right Tools For The Job – Includes (metric) Hex: H2, H2.5, H3, H4, H5, H6, H8, H10. Torx: T10, T25, T30 socket / key set and 100mm extension bar for reaching concealed bolts. Bespoke protective molded case to keep the adjustable torque wrench and tool bits stored safely, also includes ‘storage’ section inside case to store bolts when using the wrench. Reversible 72-tooth ratchet head measures torque in clockwise and counter clockwise directions. Engage and release bit instalment button. Professional Quality – Each hand tool is fully calibration tested for accuracy to ISO 6789-2:2017 and DIN EN ISO 6789-1:2017-07 requirements and test methods for design conformance testing, quality conformance testing and recalibration procedure. Includes individual certificate of calibration with each set. What a good tool, good for a hand tool

It's nicely packaged in a plastic case with a nice metal clasp. Includes an extension and a set of standard Torx and Allen bits and a certificate of calibration. The key works very smoothly and the locking mechanism is easy to use. This is a super good tool!

High-quality set for power tools and hand tools

This set convinced me. Pro Bike Tools definitely has quality. I like that each part of the tools has its place. If necessary, the ratchet tool can be adjusted to the required torque. The size of the set is convenient for traveling. This is definitely a cool set. I used it to install some items on my bike.

Very practical bike repair kit.

I was unofficially dubbed the neighborhood bike mechanic. "Mr. Rick can fix anything." This kit makes repairs even easier. Beautiful, reliable, durable plastic case. The children from the neighborhood benefit from this small repair kit. All the witches and sprockets I need. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Decent work
Cons
  • Not the best

What a professional tool!

I got it for my tricycle and I'm very happy! It's a professional look, feel and build, and most importantly; This is a phenomenal set and quite comprehensive despite being in such a small package. Even a cover about quality! I couldn't be happier!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

It's cute, cool and comfortable

Me and my friend ride MTB. He mainly works with bicycles and loves good tools. Previously he bought a cheaper torque kit from China and it was fine (in pics 3 and 4), slightly larger and not as accurate as the Pro Bike Tool. So the Pro is actually smaller, easier to handle/fit into smaller spaces, more accurate, better quality and just plain charming in my opinion. Our old attachments also fit in here. A must for every MTB rider!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

This torque wrench is a welcome addition to my bike tool collection

This is a well designed clicker torque wrench in a sturdy carrying case with snap mounts for the tool and all its attachments. It even included a calibration certificate. I particularly like the easy-to-use torque setting lock so you don't have to worry about accidentally changing the torque setting during use. The set includes the most commonly used torx bits and metric hex bits. No more guessing about the right torque when working with my bikes!

Good torque wrench in torque wrench

I already have an old Pittsburgh ¼ inch torque wrench but I wanted to put it to better use for cycling. This set meets all requirements. Since I don't have a calibrated tool to check torque accuracy, Pittsburgh is the best comparison. They're pretty close. The build quality of this model is much better. This one has a locking mechanism to lock out torque settings, while the Pittsburgh doesn't. This one also has a much better case. The bits in this set are perfect for all fasteners. All in all I

Good solid working tool

First, let me say that the metal body of this torque wrench is good. It is a pleasure and a privilege to open and close. While I can't confirm the exact accuracy of the torque settings, this wrench works fairly well and I had no trouble tightening the small nuts and bolts in my car's engine to specification. Although I haven't used it for bike maintenance yet, it latches securely and feels solid. The included hex wrenches also feel nice and are of good quality, although I've mostly used the…

  • There are other interesting options.

Impressive Quality Bike Torque Wrench

I've been building and repairing bikes for many years and have a lot of torque wrenches on hand. However, when I saw this torque wrench, I couldn't help but look at it. It was immediately clear to me that this was a very good click torque wrench. It's absolutely reliable. Although all torque wrenches come with a calibration report, I always check them myself. I was happy to see that after checking the calibration of this torque wrench, it was almost identical to the report that came with it. So

Pros
  • Proper tools to get the job done - including (metric) hex sockets: H2, H2.5, H3, H4, H5, H6, H8, H10. Torx: T10, T25, T30 socket set and 100mm extension for access to hidden screws. Specially designed protective case to safely store the adjustable torque wrench and tool bits and with a storage compartment inside the case to store the screws when using the wrench. 72-tooth reversible ratchet measures clockwise and counterclockwise torque. Activate and release the Bit Set button.
Cons
  • Available in white only

Cute little guy - smaller than expected but so far so good!

Nothing else to say except the title. It's small. Smaller than expected but true to intended size. The more, the harder it is to get into hard-to-reach places. Fit and finish: Everything seems to be in order and the ratchet has been smooth-running so far. The finish seems good but only time will tell such things. I will say that the numbers on the silver part of the torque wrench are a bit difficult to read but can be handled. One thing that impressed me was that they included a calibration…

High-quality tools with storage case

Being able to service your bike with your own tools has its perks, but finding affordable and reliable tools to accomplish it isn't the easiest of tasks. This set of torque wrenches caught my eye because it also included a small set of hex and torx sockets and a small extension. The tools come in a nice hard case that is perfect for storing the torque wrench, sockets and extension. The torque wrench looks and feels like it's made out of good materials. There are no casting marks on the body or…
