Cable and material quality

This might look like a mess but we live in Cottonwood AZ and never took into account for snow load. The shades are all in tact but the 4x6 post that we had buried 3 feet into into the ground snapped right at the base. THESE SHADES ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and are 20 degrees cooler underneath them in the summer. We have 3 of them and would buy more if we had more room. GREAT QUALITY!

Pros
  • I covered a small section of my deck. Very happy
Cons
  • Could accumulate dirt or debris over time

Great option for shade!

This is a great option for shade vs the more expensive ones on the market. Installed this at one of our rentals because the area gets full sun all day. The renters love it and can now enjoy their patio without the brutal sun heating things up. Bought another for one of our other rentals that we will install in next week.

Pros
  • Made of 100% brand new high-density permeable 180 GSM polyethylene knitted fabric material. Made so that no water is accumulated on top during rainfall, 3 Years warranty under normal usage and normal weather conditions.
Cons
  • Could interfere with outdoor lighting or solar panels

Really works well to keep out the sun.

I bought this for my deck because at dinner time, just when we would sit down to eat, the sun would be hitting our covered deck at just the right angle to make it very hot and uncomfortable. I tried using an umbrella in our table but the deck roof and lamps interferes with it. I thought about a sunshade but had only seen triangular ones before and thought that wouldn’t work. Then I found this rectangular and it’s perfect. It covers the space nicely and leaves light in but blocks the intense…

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • Could be expensive to replace if damaged

Great product best in my review

We have been using this for two months. The cable sewn into the edging is a really great feature and why I chose it. I have had to use some heavy duty hardware to hang this. I used 3/16 inch cable with 1/2 inch turnbuckles. Anything smaller and the wind either snaps the cable or straightens the hooks on the ends of the turnbuckles. Next years improvement would be handcranks at two of the corners instead of turnbuckles to make putting up and taking down quicker and easier. Overall, it works…

Pros
  • Like how well it is made and very easy to install.
Cons
  • Cannot adjust the angle or direction of shade

I recommend this product.

I have no shade. And my Koi pond was in full sun. Last summer in July it hit 90° several days in a row. My pond water got dangerous warm. And I lost a Koi. Purchase this sun sail a few days later and now my pond has shade . The water stays nice a cool for the Koi. It prevents algae from growing and it adds to the ponds appearance. Especially at night when the motion solar lights shine up on the sail. The durability of this sail is excellent. Its held up in some pretty good winds. I would…

Pros
  • Love it. Would buy again in a minute
Cons
  • May require professional installation for best results

Works well as a vertical porch shade on the south & west sides

On the bigger surfaces sails, one needs a support structor able to withstand the wind otherwise, I think they are great, Make you measurement one foot under the exact measurement use bungie cords and the thing is beautiful

Pros
  • Important: Our shade sails have curved sides to enhance pull strength and prevent drooping; this can add 1"-8" in side length. Middle-center of sail will be shorter in width due to curves. If straight sides are preferred please contact us. Read description for details.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in areas with high wind speeds

Seemingly indestructible

I hung this thing and then we got rain and wind and more rain and crazy Santa Ana Southern California winds. I thought for sure it was going to be a goner. The wind beat this thing like it caught it stealing from it and it took like it knew it had it coming. I couldn't find a stitch out of place. The color is great and it stretches pretty close to being a rectangle.I hung it with 550lb paracord and used stainless turnbuckles with proper knots.

Pros
  • Resistant to mold, mildew, and fading
Cons
  • Could accumulate water or snow and become weighed down

Provide shade? for my opinion

I was not impressed at all! If anything this shade traps in heat. It was hotter underneath than it was in the sun itself. As for water anything, not impressed there either. Started to rain, little more than a sprinkle, but not a down pour. Within 30 seconds my phone was wet. Could have been a material flaw or something as it happens.

Pros
  • Can be used in any season, providing shelter from rain, wind, and sun
Cons
  • May not be able to withstand frequent exposure to saltwater or ocean air

Cables too long? Too saggy

The sail and hardware look to be of great quality but when I installed it and pulled on the wires there is slack in the material that just sags. Tried different mounting points and there’s no way to make the material taunt. Emailed the company to see if there’s a way to tighten it inside but for now my cheaper one did better.

Pros
  • This is the second Sunshade that we have purchased. It is a lifesaver in the summer
Cons
  • Could become damaged by pets or wildlife

Works perfectly. best in my review

It was exactly what I was hoping for. May not be as durable as other types of outdoor shading solutions. I used it to cover my son's play area. Actually going to order another one for him.

Pros
  • I am unable to sit in the sun at all, now I can sit on my deck anytime! Love it!
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other types of outdoor shading solutions

Looks nice so far: my feedback

Didn’t get the time to put it up yet this year but will come back and update when we do. I did lay it out on the ground to see what it looked like and it looks promising.

Pros
  • Made with high-quality material for added durability
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with certain outdoor activities, such as grilling

Last 3.5 summers in Southern California

When I pulled it out to set up again on the summer, it was disintegrating to plastic dust. But worked great for 3 sunny summers

Pros
  • Blocks harmful UV rays to protect skin and eyes
Cons
  • May not be able to withstand frequent exposure to high winds

4 year review.: my feedback

Held up for 4 years and did the trick. Still using it but looking for waterproof ones now.Slight rust in d rings and small holes start to form. These are stretched tight and left up through all summer storms.

Pros
  • Helps create a sustainable and eco-friendly outdoor environment
Cons
  • Could become a safety hazard if not properly stored during the off-season

Im Happy as it's all delivered on time as indicated.

Easy to install/uninstall. Looks sturdy but not sure how long it will last when expose to the elements 24/7 in the summer time. Overall, I'm satisfied.

Pros
  • Provides ample shade for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Could be affected by changing soil conditions or water saturation

I am very impressed

I thought for the price I was gonna throw it away. In this nasty dry and hot Texas Summer it has held up way better than I thought. Keeps part of the house/carport shaded during the evening. I was so impressed I bought another. Can't go wrong with it as far as I'm concerned. Well done whoever made it.

Pros
  • Allows for natural airflow and ventilation
Cons
  • Could be damaged by falling tree limbs

This is a quality shade, made of great heavy duty material! I went through 3 $200 canopy pop up tents before I bought this $75 shade, and it had outlasted 50mph winds! Great uv/heat protection( I live in Vegas)You will need d rings and tensioner hooks to tighten. I used airplane cable around the tree, concrete screws for brick wall. and found the floor divider/ stud on the house with longer screws. The wind will destroy canopies. this shade is legit!

Pros
  • Large size accommodates multiple people
Cons
  • May not be able to provide enough shade for specific time periods of the day

Not happy with packaging!

This is a 40in X 22in box! And the sunshade is waded up inside like it’s been sent to someone else, opened and returned! Clearly it was in a package at one time because it’s also waded up on top! It’s now going to be a pain to return because I’ll have to send it back the same way it was received! Super disappointed!

Pros
  • Enhances curb appeal and value of properties
Cons
  • Could be prone to corrosion or rust over time

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice shade! on my review.

Pretty easy to install and, you can really tell the difference when is sunny and you're under the shade. I can't comment on durability since I just had it less that 2 months.

Pros
  • Not as easy to install as you would think
Cons
  • Could rip or tear in high winds

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice but watch out for wind

Overall a great shade creater but you must secure it to non movable items as it will catch wind. But other than being a sail, it does its job well with no tears or rips etc.

Pros
  • Provides a cost-effective alternative to traditional structures
Cons
  • Could become a safety hazard if not properly anchored

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Disappointing on my review.

Are used it for a patio cover. Does not cover the way they said. That’s not stress like they said. The measurements do not cover like they said. Very misleading

Pros
  • Great but does stretch with time
Cons
  • just couldn't seem to get it taut
