Being able to service your bike with your own tools has its perks, but finding affordable and reliable tools to accomplish it isn't the easiest of tasks. This set of torque wrenches caught my eye because it also included a small set of hex and torx sockets and a small extension. The tools come in a nice hard case that is perfect for storing the torque wrench, sockets and extension. The torque wrench looks and feels like it's made out of good materials. There are no casting marks on the body or knob, the knob's locking mechanism inspires confidence that the tuning isn't knocked off spec, and the ratcheting action feels smooth. The hour markers are laser engraved and have good contrast to make them easy to read. The handle has perfect knurling, which ensures a secure grip even with oily or greasy hands. The kit includes bits and an extension marked Chrome Vanadium so they should be very durable - something that only shows after many, many uses but judging by the quality of the torque wrench I don't feel that they will fall apart. If you like doing things on your own or like cycling, this is good quality and reliability. Tool.
