Most of the time I wear a size 8 and medium, and medium fits here. However, I wanted a petite length, and like many other pants, the petite length is a bit short compared to the regular length (which annoys me a bit. 5ft 5in isn't that short and medium should stay medium). only with a shorter step length). However, the petite inseam is fine (probably around 30ft as that usually works for me in flats) and the pants are very comfortable. The fit is flattering, but I wish they offered a little more hip room. The material is thin and works well in warm/humid climates, but as other reviewers have mentioned, they don't feel durable.
