Perfect hiking/casual pants

I love how light and comfortable they are. I'm 5ft 7", 132lbs, waist 26.5"/hip 37" and bought the XS. I usually wear S and I wear 2 to 4. I read other reviews that suggested downsizing and I'm glad I did. They adjust to the figure, but the waistband isn't too tight - it's soft without losing support. I've tried many other hiking pants and these are my favorites. They remind me of the Athleta hiking pants, only they look a lot better and are of a higher quality. Also cheaper!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Useless Features

Great pants with pockets!

best feature: POCKETS! Deep, big enough to hold a wallet, a large cell phone, a large key pack, your passport and a paperback novel. Unfortunately things tend to slip out of your bag when you drag it down to use the bathroom. Ladies, you know the struggle. Luckily I noticed that there is an equally large ZIP POCKET on the right. Unbelievable! The material is light so I don't sweat and dries very quickly (great for washing in the sink). The cut is nice and the ruffles on the sides of the legs…

Nice (I kept them) but.

Most of the time I wear a size 8 and medium, and medium fits here. However, I wanted a petite length, and like many other pants, the petite length is a bit short compared to the regular length (which annoys me a bit. 5ft 5in isn't that short and medium should stay medium). only with a shorter step length). However, the petite inseam is fine (probably around 30ft as that usually works for me in flats) and the pants are very comfortable. The fit is flattering, but I wish they offered a little…

These pants are amazing! So light

These pants are fantastic! So light, comfortable and much softer than most of these pants. And there is no "whistling" sound. Hooray! But for me they are a whole size bigger than the size chart and they are ridiculously long. I'm 5ft 6" and even the smaller "regular" length runs over the soles of my sneakers. They cannot be hemmed because of the drawstring at the edge. And I don't like how they look with the tight drawstring. When they're that long, they look like cheap sweatpants with a wide…

Very comfortable pants

Bought these pants for a light hike holiday and to wear to the garden. I love everything about them except the length which to me is ridiculously large (5ft 4in). I don't have tape, but I'm pretty sure the large inseam measures around 34 inches. I wear them with cuffs until I find time to hem them. Length aside, they're extremely comfortable for hiking, gardening, or just lounging around the house. I usually wear a 13-15 in jeans and the big ones are very comfortable with a belt somewhere…

These pants are awesome!

Was looking for the perfect pair of hiking pants and found them at a retail store, but bought them off Amazon to get them with a cropped inseam. They are better! They are insanely soft and stretchy, very comfortable. I'm quite a sweaty person, especially when hiking, so I usually wear shorts, but I need extra mosquito and sun pants. I was afraid the pants would overheat me even more, but they were great. They breathe well and dry very quickly. Within 30 minutes of completing my hike, you would…

Perfect fit (even when you're pregnant!)

These pants are best for curvy girls! I couldn't believe it as I'd tried The North Face before and they just didn't have any pant options for girls with some junk in the trunk. But they fit great and are VERY well made! As soon as I tried them on I immediately ordered another pair because I knew I would love them! All seams are reinforced and durable - perfect for people who live the big life and don't want to worry about their pants ripping at the seams when they crouch or bend down while…
