Bought a size 8 pink for my 7 year old but had to return it as it was too small. She is slim and not particularly tall. Oh. I'm a size 10 in pink and it fits perfectly and she loves it. The colors are amazing too - vibrant so it's visible even in low light when it's 5pm in rainy Vancouver in the fall/winter. I had no problem choosing blue for my five year old in blue.
