Well designed and built

This air switch replaced a Cleesink one that lasted only a couple of months. That switch had a design flaw in that the air hose connection to the transformer was a very slim plastic nozzle. Although a metal nut (as in "nuts and bolts") was provided to surround the fragile nipple, it actually provided only the illusion of protection because the thin nipple broke off after 2-3 months of air pulses. This Bestill air switch has a better design and seems unlikely to break so easily. Plus, the push…

Pros
  • Product was received in excellent condition and great price.
Cons
  • The switch is not very responsive, requiring a firm push to activate the garbage disposal

Easy to install and use

When we bought our house some monster thought using a light switch under the sink was a great idea for turning on a garbage disposal, spoiler alert, it's not.Had to do some rewiring to turn the switch into a plug, and turn the disposal into a plug and not hardwired. Once that was done it was a super easy install. Plug into receptacle, plug disposal into unit, mount the button, done. My sink had an old soap pump we didn't use anymore and it fit in there perfectly.I'd never seen one of these…

Pros
  • Perfect for countertop installation
Cons
  • The cordless power module can be easily lost or misplaced, requiring a replacement to be purchased to operate the switch

An island sink must have

If you’re like me with an island sink and little kids, the last thing you want is for them to access the sink base and flip the disposal on. Sure you can lock the doors, which we do, but it’s a pain when you need to run disposal in the middle of cleaning the dishes. This device works perfectly and is super simple to install. Drill an hole (if you don’t have one already), install push button and air hose and plug everting in. Done.

Pros
  • Innovative air switch design
Cons
  • The air switch reduces the overall power of the garbage disposal, limiting its effectiveness

Love these air disposal switches

My husband and I did a review on our kitchen. With a new black sink this air switch blends right in and with our new disposal it is quiet. I actually bought a nickel one for our second sink.

Pros
  • Easy install. Seems to be good quality. Hoping it lasts a while.
Cons
  • The brass cover is easily scratched, making it look worn and unattractive over time

Super easy - Garbage Disposal Switch

Power was run under the sink for a dishwasher. Instead of modifying the existing cabinets to run a switch for a garbage disposal I simply removed the sinks spray wand, installed this switch and plugged in my Garbage Disposal. The most challenging part of the installation was figuring out how to connect the black air tube onto the push button - unscrew the ring all the way to allow the hose to seat down on the push button.

Pros
  • The paint is coming off after a month of installation
Cons
  • The kit is expensive compared to traditional wall-mounted switches, which may deter some buyers

Super easy to install

Never heard of an air switch until about a month ago, although I'd seen those buttons on people's countertops. Had a new countertop installed and the crew said we should get an air button so they drilled a hole in the counter top. I ordered it from Revain, arrived in 2 days, read the directions and had the thing installed and working in 5 minutes. Pretty cool.

Pros
  • BRASS COVER - The cover of air activated switch button for food waste disposer is solid brass constructed, with polished chrome finished. And the thread plug is plastic.
Cons
  • The cordless power module has a limited range, requiring it to be kept close to the sink for reliable operation

Excellent switch for deep counter top.

The "long" button was critical here for the reason that the countertop was deeper than normal due to the sink and cabinet. It was easy to install and works as well as the previous mfg.

Pros
  • Enhances overall kitchen functionality
Cons
  • The kit requires careful calibration to ensure reliable operation, which can be time-consuming

Easy to install for my opinion

I put my switch in the facia board just in front of the sink. Didn't have to go through the granite counter. Works perfectly

Pros
  • Sophisticated and sleek design
Cons
  • The cordless power module can be easily lost or misplaced if not carefully stored between uses

Looks nice. Easy reach. Works as advertised.

As advertised and matched our new antique bronze pull-down faucet. Easy install once the hole was drilled by the installers of our new counter. Handy reach compared to the two steps and long reach to previous wall switch. Bonus was that I installed a USB charger/ 130 v outlet combo where the old switch was.

Pros
  • Easy to match with other kitchen fixtures
Cons
  • The air switch is not very versatile, only working with garbage disposals and not other appliances in the kitchen

Hooking this up was super easy, just keep in mind you may need to change your drain line configuration. I had a dishwasher vent where I put my button. I ran a high loop setup using some zip ties and connected the dishwasher drain to a rubber step down like that goes into a drain line of a sink.

Pros
  • Convenient for users of all ages
Cons
  • The cordless power module can be easily damaged if dropped or knocked off the counter

Recommend going with brass

Gave three stars because it's failure may be my fault. I may have overtightened the plastic nut holding the air tube to the plastic threads. It failed to work.Purchased a brass bodied setup next. That one worked great. My advice, buy the brass high quality kit, not plastic. In my humble opinion.Didn't return as this may have been my fault.

Pros
  • Adds value to your kitchen
Cons
  • The cordless power module can be prone to interference or signal disruption, causing intermittent or unreliable operation

So far, so good.: my feedback

I was pretty skeptical of this switch. It's a fairly simple idea, and rather ingenious. It's just that. I was afraid the diaphragms that make it work would wear out, or just fail in a short time. But, I've been using this for a while now, and it's still working as good as it did when I first installed it.And, I have to admit, I really do prefer the idea of bushing a button with wet hands, that "doesn't" have live electricity flowing through it.Oh, and if does a GREAT job of filling one of the…

Pros
  • Easy to hook up by myself. Took about 4 minutes.
Cons
  • The power module emits a high-pitched noise when charging, which can be annoying to some users

Looks good and works well

Installed pretty easily and looks great. The one issue and what kept it from being a 5* product was the seal around the base. They need to provide a better seal around the bottom of the base to keep water from dripping down between the product and the hole in the countertop. Luckily I was able to reuse the seal from the sprayer housing I had removed to seal it well.Button works great. Nice and quiet. Looks great and the stainless matches my Delta faucet very closely.

Pros
  • UL listed cordless power module
Cons
  • The polished chrome finish can be easily scratched or chipped, detracting from its appearance

Proper tools. in my review

Really like this product with looks and ease of use. Did not come with directions but as usual You Tube saves the day. Also helped I had a friend in the granite business to drill the hole for me.

Pros
  • Rough Plumbing
Cons
  • The long push button requires more force to activate than traditional switches, causing fatigue over time

Easy to install: my feedback

So easy to installI have a disposable with switch built into the drainSwitch was getting bad didn’t always engage.Parts not available jumped the switch and installed air switch real easy projectSaved purchasing a new disposal.Great product

Pros
  • Simple and elegant appearance
Cons
  • The switch can malfunction if not properly grounded, causing electrical damage or fires

Good Quality button/rim - power source in box did not work

The button/rim that goes on countertop is good quality and perfect color match to Delta Savile kitchen faucet. However, 3 stars given since the power source would not work at all. The hose line connected to our old power source worked perfectly. Additionally, the push button has to be pushed in further than our old one that was replaced only due to new color on faucet installed. Would have returned if installation of button/hose was already completed under sink - just easier to use old power…

Pros
  • Eco-friendly design
Cons
  • The long push button can accidentally activate the disposal if bumped or hit gently

Simple, AND works! - my new review

The only reason I give a four star for ease of installation is because you need an expert to drill a hole in your countertop (if you don't already have it pre cut). Aside from that, install is simple. I've had it for two weeks now and it works without fail. My husband and I decided to remodel our kitchen and have the sink in the island. The contractors were planning to put the disposal switch underneath the sink (super inconvenient!). Luckily I quickly found this button and in the same color as

Pros
  • Safe and reliable for long-term use
Cons
  • The long push button can be difficult to reach if the user has a large sink or worksurface

I’d buy it again: my feedback

I installed it a week ago and it works like it should. I did have a name brand as a back up if this one didn’t work but so far this one seems to be doing the job

Pros
  • Effective solution for garbage disposal control
Cons
  • The switch can malfunction if exposed to water or moisture, causing damage to the electrical components
