Review on SIMPLIHOME Acadian Table Inch Black Furniture for Accent Furniture by Troy Robinson

I bought these to renovate our living room because I spent all the budget on the sofa and couldn't afford the 5 times more expensive ones at the furniture store so I came home, went to Amazon, found similar in style and decided to take a risk. I'm so glad I did! These tables are great. I have 3 of these in black so they go well with a variety of decor. Black isn't sharp either, it's softer. The finish is more of a matte finish, which I like because it doesn't distract from sofas and other decorations by being too shiny. In terms of size, these tables are a decent size, especially for smaller spaces. It is very easy to assemble. For assembly you will need a Philips screwdriver, also known as an x-screwdriver, which is not included. The first table took about 15 minutes to assemble because there was a bit of confusion as to whether the eccentric screws actually went into tiny holes or if I would permanently damage the table. The instructions were a bit vague and the holes seem so small. But yes, they go into tiny holes. The next 2 tables were assembled and installed in less than 5 minutes because once you know how to assemble them it's really very easy. The quality of the materials was a pleasant surprise. It appears to be made from hard but softer wood as opposed to chipboard or other MDF products. It really does feel like a higher quality product that will last if treated with respect. Of course, if you sit on it, or put your thick-bottomed boots on it, or cover it with some trash, it'll eventually tear, but if you just hold the remote control, a table lamp, some coasters, some knick-knacks, and a box of tissues ( everyday items found on a side table) you will be fine. I would definitely recommend these tables and maybe buy another one once the sofas are delivered and in place. I'm just not sure if we will have space and if we need it to make up for the space but I would like to buy the right items. Absolutely fantastic! You will not be disappointed!
