In looking at the instructions the installation is exactly opposite of normal. Normally, you'd do the wiring and base installation first, before installing the bulb and top. This would provide a lighter, less bulky lamp to install. The instructions recommend complete assembly of the lamp, then wiring it up and fixing it to the pole. Doing it the normal way results in a very difficult attachment of the top because the nuts are not attached to the lamp. I lost three nuts trying to secure the top. It is difficult to perform the task if your hands aren't agile. I'm not sure if nut loss is not expected when changing bulbs. I wouldn't take the fixture off to change bulbs. Plan to loose nuts.
