You surprised me! What a treat.
I'm a guy and the fact that I go back to look at the ceiling is almost silly. However, I had to. This was for my 14 year old boy who had the same but had to be replaced after a couple of years. We were concerned that we would not find quality and softness in any duvet. It was a wonderful unexpected treat. It's about twice as heavy as I thought it would be. The knit is very dense, but at the same time soft and cozy. It's like a hospital blanket but nicer, softer, never vomited, and you don't have to pay $1,100 a night to use it.
