Review on Pyle PCMTV25 17 Inch Universal Hide Away by Pedro Hague

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what I needed for 32 inch

Pretty basic product and install. I was worried. I installed mine and it was facing down UNTIL I adjusted the friction as instructed. I used my own 6mm socket and ratchet. It was very loose when it was delivered. I tensed, but not to the limit. Now you need to lower it the last few inches to a vertical position, but it will stay where you put it. 2) It should be mentioned in the instructions but no. Clearances must be considered when mounting near a wall or obstacle. In my case I mounted in front of the ceiling joist. I had to figure out how low I would set the height so the top would clear the ceiling when down and then just enough distance from the joist for the bottom to clear it when in the up position. There was also room to rotate 45 degrees left and right in the down position, but that was less than room to lift in the middle, unrotated position. I think if you plan to install the TV in a swivel position you need to take that into account as well. . I found a joist and used the 2 middle screw holes. It seems pretty obvious and a big surprise as to why it wasn't mentioned. Duty?
