The LED headlights are well designed and the housing is part aluminum and part plastic. The design is not like the regular lightbulb I've seen before, I think this will be the new trend to replace all LED headlights. I don't understand why there is a long cable with a connector sticking out of the LED headlights. If you look around the case, there is a tiny fan behind the LED strip. Since the fan has taken the place of the connector, a wire is needed to route the connector away from the cooling fan. I find it strange that a halogen lamp gets very hot during operation, but doesn't need a fan to cool it down. The LED is supposed to cool, so I didn't quite understand why it needs a fan. I suspect that these LED headlights are much brighter than the halogen headlights, so they generate a lot more heat. The instructions are generally useless, so it's better than nothing. I went to YouTube and found some videos on how to change the headlights on my 2017 Sonata and they helped me a lot. I "liked" them all, thanks for all the helpful people on YouTube. I just installed the passenger side because it's easy and there's nothing wrong with removing the headlight bulb and connector on that side. I couldn't get to the driver's side because it's not that easy to remove the existing bulb in a protective cover with a plug. I gave up after 15 minutes of trying so I just gave up and tested the LED headlight with my existing halogen light for a couple of nights. The result is day and night. I see a big difference between the two and the LED headlight is much whiter and wider. It's not that the halogen isn't bright, but when placed next to an LED headlight there's a huge comparison before my eyes. What I don't like is that the cable from this LED headlight is too long. I cannot close the dust boot on the passenger side because there is not enough space in the trunk due to the length of the cable. I am afraid that moisture or dust may get inside and ruin the wiring as the rainy season is coming soon. They are great but not for my car. I can't get the driver's side bulb out and I can't close the passenger side cover so they're trying to tell me they're not for my car. Hopefully my next car will benefit from it.
