I have an iPhone XR with Case Mate Tough. The case is exactly what I wanted but couldn't find anywhere online for my phone. Without a case, my phone fit too tight in the leather case. However, I wanted a leather case that would fit my phone with a protective cover. Dimensions are the same for XR and 6S, but XR is thicker. Using a solution of 50% alcohol and water, I was able to stretch the skin to allow the phone to fit inside the protective case. (Wet the solution through and through the phone on the outside and inside of the case - no soaking required. Then work the leather on the sides - outside - to stretch it to fit a bare phone or phone For a phone with a protective case, insert the protective case into the case and work with the leather to stretch the skin to fit, then leave the case in the case until dry - about 12-16 Hours Then you have a high quality protective leather case that fits iPhone XR, fits well and looks great.
