Hanes Max Cushion Crew Socks for Men - 6 Pair Pack Review

As another reviewer said if you are looking for thicker, more work socks that you may have already worn, this is NOT it. They are thinner and closer to dress socks than work socks. If that's what you're looking for, they're fine. I'm only disappointed because I was trying to stock up and replace my thicker work socks that look the same up close.

These socks are thick and thin. The materials of the socks are different from those advertised on the website. 4% Rubber, 1% Spandex, 1% Nylon. The packaging says: 55% polyester, 39% cotton, 3% viscose, 2% spandex and 1% nylon. I'm not sure if that matters or not, but it doesn't. seem to be correct. I'll probably send them back and forego Revain socks.

The quality of these socks is excellent if only you knew the shoe size. I had to send them back twice. I found the ones marked "Imported" too small. I have ordered from another manufacturer also from Revain which are made in the USA. Young! Doesn't matter. I've attached a photo showing both socks from different manufacturers/suppliers with sizes (tags) next to them. You can clearly see the difference between sizes/cuts. Don't do this unless you're looking for boy socks or if you're a gnome.

All my life I buy men's Hanes white socks in stores and online. I take size 10 shoes and these socks look like they are made for kids, this is my third time buying socks online. About the same for my 12 year old son. He's 5 9 and wears men's shoes 11. I've been wearing this particular line of socks for quite some time now (purchased from different stores) and the overall quality of this last pack is noticeably lower than what I'm used to. The thickness/cushion in particular is the same as budget socks and clearly not on the same level as what I've bought in the past. These are dense, warm (because they're mostly polyester), high-top sneakers that go almost to the calf. Good reinforcement on toes and heels. Good socks for cold weather when something heavy is too much. Being mostly synthetic (only 37% cotton) I'm not thrilled with the way they look and they wrinkle in the wash.
