Review on Hanes Max Cushion Crew Socks for Men - 6 Pair Pack by Ethan Delaney

I like the lower half (foot area). But the calf is HERE ALSO! I read the reviews before purchasing and the overall rating. But I must have overlooked other reviewers (22) who mentioned the calves were too tight for them or thought the tightness didn't bother me. I'm not overweight and I don't have really muscular calves. I have normal ankles and lower legs and have never seen socks that tight. I considered leaving them on and letting the tops down to my ankles or stretching them over a piece of wood to loosen them up. But I don't like the first one and I'm not sure if the second one will work even with the character of the yarn. I'm sorry Hanes, but I'm returning these - and I'll read the reviews more carefully for the next ones I buy.
