Top-notch Comfort: Gold Toe Men's 656s Cotton Crew Athletic Socks, Multipairs Review

I've been buying these socks every few years for as long as I can remember. Every year the fit and feel changes a bit, and that's okay. But not this year. These are the tightest and most uncomfortable socks I've ever tried to wear. A day later, my legs were throbbing from reduced blood flow. Washing/drying didn't help. Send them back for a refund. Stay away from them, I say.

Do Not Buy Gold Toe Products! I've been a Gold Toe customer for 30 years and buy their sport and business socks. I recently bought 2 sets of athletic socks and neither of them lasted 3 months. They are of very poor quality and durability and pierce the toe very easily. I will never buy Gold Toe again and have since switched to Carhart and Wigwam. I can't believe a company would let their quality fail.

As already mentioned, the quality of Goldtoe has dropped significantly. I have worn gold toes for years and am happy with them, but now they are made differently and the lower quality is immediately noticeable. The tops are sewn on, making them slimmer and easier to unravel over time. The top is thinner with cheaper elastic. Heals are amplified less well. Checked before ordering as I wanted a high cotton content and not polyester which makes my feet sweat. As soon as I put them on, I noticed that the soles no longer had the soft feeling that my golden toes used to have.
