For me, I have found that they work just as well as before. I've been wearing these socks for years and my last set is almost a year old and they're still holding up well. In fact, they still hold up even after being on my feet for over 10 hours a day washing them over and over again. . They are thick enough to offer softness but not too thick to compress the shoe. They seem to wick moisture well, better than almost any other sock I've used. I think these socks will keep your feet warm even in moderately cold temperatures. One of the only downsides I've found is that they tend to loosen around the ankle after hundreds and hundreds of washes and uses, but for the price, so will all the other competitors. I will continue to buy these socks for my everyday use.
