heavily pigmented but can bleed heavily. A LOT OF! I applied it myself the first few times and it took forever for the red pigment to wash away from everything and my very fair skin. I recommend you mix it with brown to soften the tone if you don't have red-red. This is a really good product and I would buy it again but I feel like I paid for something and didn't get it. I love the application process but mine broke and it pours everywhere (probably where the mess came from) when I barely tilt it to apply. I wasted a lot of product because it's so broken and spills everywhere and I need to remove red pigment from my clothes, floor, body and whole bathroom. The product itself is great but sorry my broken applicator wasted so much. I would happily have the whole product and keep buying it if I didn't feel like I was being cheated by losing so much of the product because it breaks. :(
