I really liked these boots at first. However, after 3 days of playing in the snow, they started to tear. The material is thin and has just started to crumble. I liked the height of the boots and the velcro tightened them up well so they stayed in place. The top tip was not stretched, so the snow was packed on top of the first layer of velcro. It made her feet freeze. Easy to detach, I just folded the top down and it worked great. But then they started to tear and after 5 days they were complete garbage. Too bad because they protected the feet perfectly, especially with the rubber sole. If you're just walking your dog, they'll probably be great, but much more active than that and more likely to vomit. Also in terms of size. I have 2 Dobermans so I ordered a pair of large and a pair of honey. The big ones worked for their front feet as they are taller/wider. Honey. worked on the back as they are smaller/thinner. I was able to separate them for each dog, but unless you have two dogs the rear boots might be too big.
