Now I forgot where I saw these clasps but I like the overall quality and durability. I use them exclusively in leatherworking, although there are undoubtedly many other uses as well. The clasp holds very well and then comes loose easily when you lift the top. The photos I have included show a leather rod case and dog collar. I wouldn't trust the weak tools for any of the applications. Loxx makes them in several versions. I hope they become more accessible in the near future. Highly recommended.
