They work as advertised but I wish they had added a second pull tab on the other side to slip over your finger. When they start slipping on the street (and they will), it's not very easy to put them back on. There is a pull tab on the back, but it only pulls the back down instead of the front. Also, be careful when using velcro around them - they will stick to the velcro and come off instantly. Finally, when you take off the gloves, grasp the middle, ring, and little fingers of the glove, excluding the index finger, otherwise, you guessed it, you'll rip those things off immediately. They give you 4 pieces per pack. , presumably for the index and thumb of both hands, but I find it works great on two index fingers. Take the other two with you on your journey in case you lose one.
