Love this thing. I wish it was about 0.25" wider to hold liter cans better (the bottom of the can fits a bit but not quite), but other than that it's cool. It's even wide enough for me to put my phone in. To keep it stable in the car cup holder, just twist the base of the adapter to make it big enough. You can keep turning it once it's in place and it sort of locks into place. The body of this cup holder is quite large and doesn't get in the way as I almost can't get my fingers between the electronic brake and the cup holder. It sticks out a lot and if you have a very tall bin it can affect your driving. But on my phone it's great, my phone and my glasses/beverage containers kept sliding all over my car because they didn't fit in the cup holder. Now it's so nice that one of them can stay in one place lol
