I wanted to like this board, but.

I see a lot of good things about this board but to be honest my son can't even ride it. I bought him this exact board before it sold out for Christmas 2019 as he really wanted one and Magneto had good reviews. But due to a design flaw in the rails and bad bearings I had to buy him a brand new board two weeks later. We noticed almost as soon as he tried it that the board kept tilting to the right. When we dismantled the bogies we found that the base of one of the hangers that is in contact with the swivel tray that allows you to balance and keep the board straight was made askew. I mean, he could hardly keep still and kept tipping the board to the right. I hope they fixed this problem but I've run out of money and will have to replace the trucks entirely if I want him to use them again.

Pros

THE PERFECT FIRST BOARD We found the traditional size and shape, approximately 31 inches long and 8 inches wide, to be too long and heavy for children. We ended up with a deck that is 27.5 inches long and 7.75 inches wide. Children's feet are perfect for this deck without the added length and weight. The kids we have worked with have learned to ride much faster on boards designed for them than the heavier boards typically found on the market.
