Review on VA2759-SMH ViewSonic Frameless Monitor, 1920X1080P, 60Hz, Anti Glare, IPS, LCD, HD by Richard Hampton

Environment - Dell Inspirion 15-5574; Windows 10 Home Connected via Dell/Display Link Multiport with 2 HMDI cables (and USB connector cable to my laptop) Installed on North Bayou F160 Gas Strut FlexiMount Not plug and play just because I had to force Windows to load its drivers for each Updating the monitor (individually) and Dell Multiport via Device Manager, which required multiple restarts for Windows to get all 3 displays recognized (2 Viewsonics and my laptop's display). No problems at all with the monitors - arrived quickly and in perfect condition, the default display settings are noticeably more yellow than my laptop's display, but the monitor's firmware allows for color matching (which I didn't do because the difference doesn't bother me). The speakers are a bit tinny, but I was actually looking for speakerless monitors and bought them because of the great price, so I set my Bose Bluetooth speaker as the default speaker in Windows, which solves the problem mentioned in another review. When using HDMI cables, standard audio is output from the monitor speakers. Images are crisp, great for spreadsheets, websites, etc. (I'm not a gamer, so don't worry about the refresh rate.) This setting allows me to unplug a USB connection from my laptop and be on my way do, or , alternatively plug in a USB cable and go back to a 3 screen workspace, which is great. By the way, did you know that (if you "discovered" all the monitors in Windows, they don't have to be arranged in a straight line? (IE 1-2-3) I have mine V-shaped in Windows as they are physically, which makes mouse movement between screens natural and intuitive Good monitors, great price, previous experiences with other Viewsonic monitors have always been good.
