Toilet train at your own risk

I started feeding the kitten when it was 12 weeks and it learned very quickly which was exciting and promising (at the time). I loved this flushable litter because all I had to worry about was keeping an eye on it, dumping waste down the toilet, and vacuuming every day. If this sounds like work to you, stop reading and leave this page. After about 5 months of training (we came to the last use) she started wanting to drink from the toilet - in case you didn't know, cats love moving water because it signals to them that the water is 'fresh'. When that started happening, she also started spilling my real drinking water only to smear it on the floor and shit on it. The writing was still in the toilet so at THAT moment I had to either make her suffer that didn't allow her to walk free at night or stay up aunt at 4am while she cried and I (also crying) coaxed her into the seat. It was terrible for both of us. At this point I was ready to switch to the litter box but the nail in the coffin was when she completely gave up and started too, I did almost nothing for three days just mopped, mopped, mopped and dried the floors. Again and again steps. And again. In the photos I posted you can see that she is using a regular pot with regular filler. It took her 10 seconds to proxy fake it, 3 seconds to get in and another 15 seconds to dig to poop AND to pee, all in one visit. I'm not saying this system isn't entirely effective for other cats. I have friends whose cats use the human toilet and it's amazing! I just feel terrible that my little girl probably fought and suffered for too long :(
