Fit well but not too tight
I wore them for cycling until my 40's and they were warm enough. Even colder and I might need another coat. The size was very big. I'm 5'9" tall, 38" waist, 170 lbs. Ankle zips protect against wind. The material was loose enough in the crotch area that I didn't injure myself... previous tights from another brand pulled on the skin and hurt near the scar tissue. The stitches were minimal and didn't cause me any irritation/pulling issues.
