Review on Explorers' Essential: PicassoTiles Adventure Set with Binoculars and Thermometer by Raffy Baer

Bought this for my 3.5 year old son and preschoolers for our upcoming camping theme. First of all I have to say that the kit is very cute and contains everything a camping simulation kit could need. That being said, I'm a bit disappointed with the overall quality of the product. The tent is great and perfect for my 3.5 year old and 16 month old. It lasts well for a long time and easily opens and folds for storage. The rest of the parts are definitely a bit more premium than I expected. The whistle/compass/torch broke and I had to glue the compass back in place right out of the box. Part of the flashlight worked for a few minutes and now it stopped working after just a few of our games. The walkie talkies actually work, which my son loves, but one of the antennas fell out of the box and I can't put it on properly. The rest of the parts are fine and will probably last a few months (I hope). Cutlery is cute and fun, but easy to break. Opening and closing is difficult for children. For the price of the set I was hoping for a little higher quality but overall my son loves it so we will be keeping it and I will replace with other higher quality camping toys if I can find them.
