Review on DampRid Damprid Moisture Absorber Fresh by Chuck Wooten

It's not like an electric dehumidifier but it pulls water out of the air over time. I think it's best to keep the area dry rather than drying it out. My mother used them in closets and in rooms with covered vents. When I opened a few of these to use in my basement I got a little overwhelmed by the smell, but after about a day I stopped smelling at all. We now have a new dehumidifier but I would buy it again if needed to help in a wet area. I also like the sealed bag version and hang it on the basement ceiling when pets or kids can't get to it or turn around.
