Here is a weighted bedspread/blanket, for me the first weighted blanket I came across. Mky's first impression was the side of the quilt with small dots, small dots that are part of the fabric and supposedly help relieve tension. The other side is a dense sherpa fabric. Scattered along the quilt are small squares of reinforced fabric filled with ceramic balls that provide the weight of this weighted quilt. Yes, this duvet is weighted to hug the sleeper, adding warmth and weight. If we have another sub-zero ice storm in Texas, that would be the perfect time for a weighted blanket. If you have such a cold it would be wise to have a weighted blanket buffer laying around.
