Have been using vertical mice for 4 years now and have always bought <$20. It's not convenient for me. My hands are pretty small for a man. The rubber bottom, which I assume is intended to improve user control, is a major handicap for me. This causes too much drag on my surface (blade) and requires more force to move. I suppose that wouldn't be a problem if the mouse was bigger. It's really hard to explain, but my hand wants to open and I'm just moving it with my fingertips, which is a problem. Yes, I set the maximum DPI but the problem persisted. In any case, I understand why people like this mouse. But my unique situation makes it impractical. I think I should return it. Everything else looks great and works.
