These shoes are very lightweight and easy to put on. They are soft material all the way around with no heel support and no rigid part in the entire shoe. I think they would be great comfortable walking around the house shoes and even walking shoes. The lack of support I would not want to hike in them or run in them. Love this jacket! I'm tired of always being cold, so I decided to spend the money on this jacket. Someone said they the size was running small so I went up a size and got a 3x.
