Adorable, but didn't stay attached.

The key was perfect for my new-to-me 2017 Beetle. I cleaned the rear glass, and installed it correctly. The base part of the key is still strongly attached, but the handle part blew off on a windy day while driving. It lasted almost a month, but I never went over 35 mph and never for more than 10 minutes at that speed. If the handle part could have been secured to the base piece, it might have lasted longer. I'm sad to see it gone and sad to be out the money. Live and learn.

Glue issue best in my review

The adhesive is not good enough so I removed the glue strip and bought a outdoor velcro pad at menards attached it to the car and the base of the key works great also now I can remove it and go to car wash and then replace it after wash job

Didn’t Stay On: my feedback

We followed the directions on how to properly attach it, but it came off shortly after we put it on. Very disappointed ☹️ The wind-up key may be easily stolen by vandals.

COLOR FADED - my new review

I love these keys for my clown car but i recently ordered a yellow one and within a month it is very very faded. That's discouraging! The last one I got was pink and the color lasted much much better.i added pictures. The key is almost white now instead of yellow

Don’t waste your money!

It doesn’t stick well enough. I put it on (carefully following the instructions) a few weeks ago. It was great around town. BUT — the first time I went on the freeway I lost the top part. Don’t waste your money! The 2-part design is flawed, and makes the top part too big with too little surface area having adhesive.

Doesn’t stick. Flys off when driving over 50 mph.

I ordered 2 of these. The first one flew off my car on the freeway. I assumed I’d installed it inaccurately. So, I ordered another one.made certain I’d done everything right but had the same outcome; the second one also flew off as soon as I got on the freeway. Very cute but won’t stick to your car. Wish they’d refund my money.

Worth the price stays secure!

I was pleasantly surprised that the key has stayed secure through my many highway trips and travels! I travel to Columbus and Cincinnati weekly for soccer and was concerned it might just blow off, but the sticker adhesion is superb! 3M super duty stuff, has withstood rain and frost also thus far. I get a lot of compliments and it brings many smiles wherever I go! Couldn't be happier!

Poor design: my feedback

Cute design idea but that's where it stops, the key part is just wedged into the base, nothing to hold it in, so if you do hit the freeway it will fly out just from air turbulence. If it had cost any more this would be very upsetting. Live and learn. Going to save up and buy one of the real wind up keys, the one that turns as you drive.

Key doesn't stay on my review.

Loved the item, actually got it for my daughter's Honda Fit. She loved it & immediately put it on her car. Unfortunately, her excitement vanished within a few days. The actual key had blown off & now she's left with the holder only.

Cute. but you need to reinforce the wind up key adhesive!

I love these little wind up keys! The base adheres to my Mini perfectly(I stick it to the windshield) but I have learned a couple things about these now that I am on key #3. The wind up key does not stay stuck nearly as well as the base does. I super glued the adhesive provided onto the bottom of my first key before sliding it into the base, and it lasted 2 years eventually succumbing to lots of sun/heat exposure. I didn't super glue my second one (and I honestly questioned the quality of…

Got exactly the same item as the last time I ordered this. No issues.Last one lasted approximately 3.5 years which far exceeded my expectations, let’s hope this one "hangs on” as well!

SO ADORABLE! Glad I got Two!

I wish it came in a lighter blue. it is very Bright Blue (as shown in the pictures) and light blue is not offered.It did not come with "instructions" however. But easy enough to figure out.I am going to wait till the snow is gone and mud season is over before putting it on my VW Bug Convertible.

Only lasted half a day

It was great for what is lasted lol I placed it yesterday night at home and when I got to work it was bent on the top, fixed it I imagined it was the wind but I only drive 60 max since I drive a small smart car by the time I went to lunch it was gone 🤣 I didn't even had time to take a picture lol
