When I took these hooks out of the box and put them on, I was very impressed. They are strong and durable but I soon discovered an obvious flaw in the way they were assembled. I'm referring to the rubbery sleeve that fits over the hook and should hold the tool's handle securely in place. I have a set of 15 garden tools and with the exception of a few, they slide down easily no matter which way I tried to fold them. So I ended up lowering the hooks (all are mounted on a 1 x 4 block about 7 feet long) so the handles of the tools were on the ground. I also rotated the hooks about 30 degrees from vertical so they hold the tool a little better. I gave these hooks 4 not because they aren't strong enough, but because they don't hold tools well. I noticed that some other customers are facing the same problem.
