I ordered this to use only for the keyless entry function to lock and unlock my car. At such a low price it was the perfect solution. My real key is no longer programmed to activate keyless buttons. So I programmed this key for it and attached it to my keychain with the "real" key. I use a real key to start the car and this key to lock and unlock. To program the key, sit in the driver's seat, close all doors, make sure the doors are unlocked. I put my real key in the ignition and turned it to position No key, hold the unlock button and press the lock button three times, release the unlock button and the car's locks will alternate between locking and unlocking. I tested the new key and all FOB buttons worked perfectly. Much luck.
