Broken teeth are just waiting in the wings...

Oh. Of course, I would have wished that I had read the many negative reviews more carefully before buying, because it is clear that parents' concerns about this product are justified: 1) SLIPPER. The glossy paint makes the steps dangerously slippery, and the stool does not stick to the stool's "legs". As soon as we assembled it, we took it to the bathroom to try it out. My son got up and not only slipped (barefoot, not socks!) on the step, the whole stool flew back over our tiled bathroom! He almost pressed his face against the sink. POOH. 2) CHEAP MATERIALS. It seems that this product was once (eventually) made from real wood and had some quality, but no more. It's just cheap plywood and super gloss paint. Very disappointing. They also shorted out one of the little wooden pegs for me. 3) UNUSUAL ANGLE. You can't see it in the product photo, but the back wall is NOT perpendicular to the floor, it's shaped like a pyramid. This creates a rather large and dangerous gap between the chair and any furniture that the child is trying to reach. We're sending this piece of junk back. Save yourself the hassle!
