Good, but I got a defective one.

One of the pieces didn't have holes on one side that were supposed to lead to the anchors, but the anchors were still there 🤷‍♀️. I had to use a drill and make holes and then it worked. Two screws literally broke trying to screw them into a wooden post. I don't think the holes were big enough, so after prying the broken pieces out of the post with pliers, I just used other screws I found in the garage that didn't break. So I assembled everything but it was more of a DIY project and it…

Exactly what I was looking for

something big enough for my 2 1/2 to brush my teeth and wash my hands without having to pick it up or put it on the counter . I bought another stool and it wasn't high enough for my closets. This is a white 2 step stool that matches my bathroom. (See attached photos). My son has become more independent with this stool. I assembled this stool in under 30 minutes (and I don't collect much). Well, if it was easy for me, then most can. The instructions didn't put me off. Those were picture…

Poor quality of materials

Although I managed to assemble the ladder, the quality of the parts was so disappointing that I don't know how long it will last. Only two steps were fixed with screws. All risers were simply loosely connected with wooden dowels. By loose I mean the dowels were obviously smaller than they should be. When tightening, the parts barely held together. See the first pictures. The screws were some kind of soft metal and broke easily. See last picture. I had to replace it with screws from my owl…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Upgradable

Not the best quality

The screws provided are of poor quality. There is a long dowel used to support the back/bottom of the steps; One of the screws was sheared off when being hammered in by hand. Had to use my own screws at this point. Everything else seemed fine as it was driven into those plastic receptacles in the crossbars. Tiny dowels used to attach some cross members. Some of the crossbars will move once everything is tightened. Some dowels were completely broken; Fortunately, there were enough "good enough"…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Unsafe without modifications.

The stool is strong, beautiful and easy to assemble. However, it was very slippery for our daughter who normally wears socks due to our travertine floors. ALSO more dangerous, the chair slipped back while our daughter was standing on it because it's slippery at the bottom too. Not sure how it performs on tile or hardwood floors, but I suspect it would be just as slippery. As another reviewer suggested, we added non-slip tape to the steps. We are looking for floor rubbers. The legs are so thin…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • No instructions

Safe and beautiful step stool

Great! I wanted something sleek and streamlined that wouldn't be an eyesore if left by the kitchen sink for my toddler, and voila! Inspired by the safety changes suggested by some other reviewers, I added a clear non-slip shower tape to the steps, which reduces slipping, feels softer on the feet, and coordinates better with the white version. I also cut out a few strips to glue to the bottom of the legs and that seems to have reduced the floor slippage a bit, although to be honest I didn't…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Factor set

Broken teeth are just waiting in the wings...

Oh. Of course, I would have wished that I had read the many negative reviews more carefully before buying, because it is clear that parents' concerns about this product are justified: 1) SLIPPER. The glossy paint makes the steps dangerously slippery, and the stool does not stick to the stool's "legs". As soon as we assembled it, we took it to the bathroom to try it out. My son got up and not only slipped (barefoot, not socks!) on the step, the whole stool flew back over our tiled bathroom! He…

Pros
  • Many will suffice
Cons
  • Some difficulties
