Poor quality control. I now have 4 pairs of these shorts so I obviously like them. I first ordered 2.5" and 5" short both size 4. 2.5" is too tight. 5" is snug but good. I wanted another pair so I ordered 2 more in size 8 , as 4 was a little tight and shrinking.HUGE difference between two pairs of size 8.One fits well,other is too big and should be returned.For example I can take them off without opening the velcro.8.5 -inches photos in sea palm colors and hawaii blue. I REALLY want to love these shorts but the sizing needs to be more reliable especially for the price. How do I know what size to order if they are all different? Update: As I post asked about the size difference between the two shorts, both are a size 8, was told to order a smaller size if they fit better, nothing about the shirts measuring an inch in the waist, I have my original pair 5 times worn and the eyelet in the pocket is be already fallen off. Do yourself a favor and keep looking.
