My goodness. where would i start There are so many things I HATE about this coffee maker. First, the machine does NOT support standard coffee filters. The filter basket is shaped like a flattened elliptical cone that does not fit standard coffee filters. You MUST use the permanent filter provided. (Which is fine if you plan on drinking cloudy coffee all day.) Second, the coffeemaker can't be filled if it's on a counter with overhead cabinets -- there's not enough space. This means that the coffee maker should be placed in front of the counter where the cabinets will not impede the opening of the lid. And you shouldn't move it if it contains water - that's it, valuable countertop space is taken up by the coffee maker. Third, the mechanism for removing a cup does not work until the end of the cycle. No matter how slowly or how quickly you remove the pot, there's always a few tablespoons of brewed coffee left that spill onto the hot stove. Every time you get a mess. Can I recommend this coffee maker? Not in a million years.
