Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Teva Ascona Cross Strap Black Women's Shoes: Stylish & Supportive Athletic Footwear by Derek Bryant

TL; DR: If you're looking for safe walking sandals, this isn't it.

So I bought these as some sort of fake chaco because I A) love Tewas and B) the chaco insole doesn't fit my feet at all. At first I wanted Sirra, but I found her and I liked the color. I get them, try them on at home. They fit, are very comfortable yet supportive, beautiful to look at. I remove the labels and I undertake to keep them. On my first tour of the area, I noticed a few minor design flaws. The straps are not fully adjustable, they are sewn onto the front of the boot. I get that part, nobody wants the strap to go too far, anyway I let that go. Then I realize that the straps don't fit snugly around my legs no matter how tight I tighten them. With every step I take, the strap is pulled through the buckle until the top strap comes loose and dangles. The bottom strap fits well with the stitching on the front, which I'm happy with now. I'm a bit frustrated I can't return them because I wore them outside. I'll try waxing the slippery strap and see if that solves my problem, but I think it's a lack of attention to detail.
