Disappointing and will not stay closed
I was very happy with these magnetic clasps until I crafted my first piece from soft 5mm round leather. The very small magnets inside the clasp were not strong enough to fully hold the clasp in place. Some of the magnets weren't glued properly into the holes and I had to glue them myself. The bronze finish was also disappointing. It was more of a dirty bronze than antique bronze (darker and dirtier). The price is good but the quality is not. I wouldn't recommend these fasteners to anyone but I have to say I've gotten some good fasteners from this dealer but not these Marine Knot Magnetic models.
