Much more than I expected, this is a full size (school) backpack. Plenty of space in the "cold section" for everything you need for lunch. I can easily fit multiple containers and a full liter bottle of Nalgene with an ice pack. There are several pockets (so many that I keep noticing new ones). The laptop bag is well padded and keeps everything safe. This replaced the lunch tote I had for a few years and I only need these to make until I retire and I'm happy. The only thing I would wish for is "more structure" for the cold section so it doesn't collapse when you put things in the next section. Of course, this isn't a deal breaker, but if I had a wish list, it would be on it. I love this bag!
