This chair is terribly uncomfortable. While it's not the only "ergonomic" chair I've tried, it's a piece of crap. I'm starting to think that "ergonomics" is a scam and a fad. This chair in particular doesn't have lumbar support, instead it has medium to high back support, at least for those of us who are of average height. THE LUMBAR MUST SUPPORT YOUR LOWER BACK. UNDER. Not my blades. Sitting in this chair is a constant struggle to find a comfortable position. My back hurts more than ever just from sitting in this chair for a few hours. I took it apart the same day I received it because this one will definitely be returned. Yes, not to mention my arms are so outstretched they bang against my desk and push my whole body away from my dad. table than I would like and there is no way to customize this. Flipping the arms (left and right) is not so good as the armrests then become very short. And even at the highest setting, my elbows still didn't touch the armrests -- I had to distort my posture to do so, defeating the purpose of an "ergonomic" chair.
