Much better than traditional wire cutters.
I've been using this sleek food slicer for years (though probably from a different brand). When the handle on my slicer finally broke, I needed a replacement. I searched various local stores but could only find the more common wire cheese slicers. I never understood why these pliers are so popular. Unless you cut very soft cheeses, they are useless and may break. So when I saw it I ordered it and was not disappointed. It seems to be just as good and durable as the one I've had for years and replaced.
