My initial experience with this product was very positive. I needed a comfortable, stable tripod more than a selfie stick. As a tripod in the unstretched state, it was very stable. The more it's lengthened, the less stable it becomes, but that's to be expected. It seems well made of hard plastic and metal. The only thing that got it four stars was the way it mounts the phone. The spring system makes for a cumbersome mounting system, especially when trying to quickly set up your camera to get the perfect shot. I found that every time I tried to put my iPhone in the stand I had to fight the spring pressure to keep the iPhone in place. It's no good if you're in a hurry. It was with the iPhone 7+ that pretty much pushed the cradle to the limit. A simple turnbuckle would be much better than a spring that is too strong. The search for the perfect iPhone tripod continues.
