Cheap oak, almost bulsa. The construction is a bit wobbly. I wouldn't mention it, but the drawers and sides are assembled with a nail gun and the nail holes are visible from the front. Somehow spoils the aesthetics. I get that there's some money to be made from these things, but at least give me the impression that this isn't exactly cheap stuff. The advertised product image shows no sign of mounting a nail gun. The drawers are very light and easy to pull out. I will add my own drawer stops but when I opened the boxed one one of the drawers fell on the floor and broke. I glued it together myself with staples and wood glue and it's like new, that is. not very good. It's $20 at best, and it's generous. cheap materials. Cheap construction.
