I would give this table five stars except the whole screw set was the wrong size. Most of the time I'm a very friendly reviewer, but when something is unavoidably wrong I have to point it out. This is an easy to assemble table that comes in a very compact package. You simply attach four legs with seven screws to each of the four legs. I found it a bit strange that there were no pre-drilled holes, which I think contributes to a common factory error regarding the screws. I actually thought when I first saw the screws that they were too long, but I went ahead and screwed them in only to find that they go right through the top of the table. Normally this would be unacceptable to most people but I am open minded and have used the table this way to display my John Coltrane collection and was able to hide the areas where the screws went through the wood. We move forward and look behind the screw. The problem is that the table is very durable and reminds me of one of those school desks that will last for generations. The legs are very thick metal and the lower round legs easily adjust to create a balanced table. When you lift the legs, there are pre-drilled holes in the metal so you can count the slots when you lift the unit for easy balancing. I found that I found the perfect height for the display table by lifting the unit up nine steps on all four legs. In conclusion I think this is a great chart but unfortunately I have to count the number of stars based on the 28 wrong screws. the size. In the attached photos I show the table from the front. I have used this table as a table displaying the work of artist John Coltrane as shown in the image. There is a photo of the discrepancy where the screws came to the surface (which doesn't really bother me). The other two shots are the corner and the top and then the thick metal legs which are also adjustable with a variety of notches to choose from. Barring hardware issues, I recommend this table.
