I have had a Norpro ceramic crockery churn for years and love it - what a handy kitchen gadget! I don't know what I would do without it to keep the oil fragrant and soft. I also love how great it looks on the kitchen counter, like a relic from a distant past before fridges existed. And while some owners complain about the occasional mold growing on the edges of the holder, or oil dripping from inside the holder into the water reservoir, I find both are only minor inconveniences: I wipe very gently with a paper towel . And when the oil falls out of the holder into the water, I quickly scoop it up with a spoon, whole, whole, and pop it back into the holder - any little "routine work" takes seconds and doesn't matter much. I also don't find any health issues associated with mold because I wipe it off immediately; My only consideration is changing the water every few days. So my bottom line is that I love my Norpro Stoneware Butter Keeper and think it's really reasonably priced for such a great, practical piece of equipment and I would highly recommend it.
