These bulbs/lights should use a type of pulse width modulation when flickering to create a high speed strobing effect. It's hard to see when you're not moving, but if you run your hand through the beam of light you'll get the strobing effect of these lights. Color temperature appears close to 4000K, perhaps a little hotter but not bluish, and pan and focus functions work well. These lights also cast fairly harsh shadows from objects in the light path due to the focused (point light like) lens system. I used a dimmable power supply (12V - 60W) recommended by the same manufacturer to control devices, I tested only one power supply connected to the power supply. Mainly because of the flickering I'm returning these lights, but I've also found that hard shadows are a bit of a problem for my setup and I would need to increase the number of lights and compensate by dimming the light output on each light to reduce shadows to reduce. I also found that 4000K was a bit hot for my setup and the color temperature didn't seem to get warmer when the bulbs were dimmed (which I really hoped) so the 3000K option would have been preferable. In the end, if these lights didn't suffer from flickering, I would abandon them and find another project to use them.
