Review on Sony FS85USB Digital Recorder Transcription by Jason Cartwright

This product is good in theory but I haven't been able to use it yet. It doesn't seem to be compatible with my Sony ICD-UX71 digital voice recorder. It would be nice if someone would tell me before I bought this item. On the packaging it says in tiny letters that the transcription system is only compatible with Sony's ICD-ST, SX, MS, BM, BP and P series recorders. So I think I need to buy a new recorder now too. The system looks simple enough if you have a compatible recorder. The foot pedal connects directly to the computer. I'm curious to see how well it works with Dragon Naturally Speaking speech recognition software.
